The main goal of the Fith Cohesion Forum, organised by the European Commission - Directorate-General for Regional Policy, is to discuss the orientations for the future EU Cohesion Policy and its contribution to the Europe 2020 strategy. The Forum will also constitute the closure of the public consultation on the policy proposals of the Fifth Report on Economic, Social and Territorial cohesion which was adopted by the Commission on 9 November 2010.
The Cohesion Forum will bring together more than 700 people including high level representatives from European institutions, Prime Ministers and ministers, regional and local representatives, economic and social partners, NGOs and academics.
