INTERACT Point Vienna is Looking for Experts - New Type of Expertise Needed

 NTERACT Point Vienna is inviting interested experts to submit a declaration of interest for support in various activities.

Since 2003 INTERACT has regularly cooperated with external experts in the provision of its services. Our experts have mostly been individuals involved in the day-to-day programme and project management of INTERREG / European Territorial Cooperation programmes.
If you have already submitted a declaration of interest in the past, please note that new fields of expertise have been opened to expert search. Feel free to update your declaration accordingly.  Information already submitted remains available in our pool throughout the programming period.

Fields of expertise searched for:

  • European Territorial Cooperation - general framework (new in 2011)
  • Programme and project management (new in 2011)
  • Financial Management of INTERREG / European Territorial Cooperation programmes
  • Management of IPA CBC programmes between Member States and Candidate / Potential Candidate Countries
  • Evaluation and Monitoring of INTERREG / European Territorial Cooperation Programmes and Projects
  • Communication and Public Relations (PR) of INTERREG / European Territorial Cooperation Programmes and Projects.

Target groups of INTERACT are stakeholders of INTERREG / European Territorial Cooperation programmes such as Managing Authorities, Joint Technical Secretariats, Certifying Authorities, Audit Authorities, and First Level Controllers as well as members of the Monitoring and Steering Committees and other representatives of Member States and regions. For INTERACT IPA CBC services, the target group also includes programme stakeholders from IPA countries, including Operating Structures. In exceptional cases, the target group can also encompass project managers / final beneficiaries. 
Due to the dynamic and demand-driven nature of INTERACT, external experts could be involved in a range of activities such as expert input to INTERACT events, contribution to the INTERACT newsletter, development of INTERACT events, peer-to-peer reviews, research and preparation of summary articles, studies and practical handbooks.

INFORMAL EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
All experts are expected to have:

  • A proven track record in the areas of regional development and especially the European Regional Development Fund (and in case of IPA CBC external funds cooperation). Experience with INTERREG/European Territorial Cooperation and/or IPA CBC programmes is highly appreciated;
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the legal and institutional framework of European Territorial Cooperation programmes;
  • Good command of English language.
