Within the framework of ECOFIRA 2011, the Andalusian Institute of Technology
coorganized on February 16, along with the Regional Ministry of Environment of the Junta de
Andalucía and the Regional Ministry of Environment, Water, Town Planning and Housing of the
Generalitat Valenciana, a Conference to present the Techno-Environmental Platform for the AgriFood Sector in the Mediterranean that is part of the Med Operational Programme for territorial
cooperation, cofinanced by ERDF.
This conference is aimed at companies in the agri-food sector, environmental sector,
engineering, scientific community and government institutions.
The objectives to be achieved with the development of this conference are the following:
- To publicize the objectives and activities of the Techno-Environmental Platform for the
Agri-food Sector in the Mediterranean.
- To publicize the financing instruments for R&D+i projects in the field of eco-innovation
and agri-food sector.
- To publicize eco-innovative initiatives that enable the prevention and control of the
environmental aspects associated with activities, products and services of the
companies from the agri-food sector.
