On 27 January 2011 the second meeting of the Regional Focus Groups for the strategic sectors of agro-food processing, modern housing and mechatronics took place in Sofia, organized by Bulgaria Economic Forum, the Bulgarian partner of the ADC project.
Representatives of clusters and companies of all strategic sectors partook in the meeting.
The progress of Transnational Cluster Strategy WP of ADC project and the results of the work of the sectoral working groups in the three sectors were presented. Participants made the following suggestions:
- Agro-food processing : the fruit processing subsector to be proposed for transnational/bilateral clustering;
- Modern Housing: the floral decoration subsector to be proposed for bilateral clustering and co-operation;
- Mechatronics: representatives of electromotive sector joined to the RFG.
In the RFG suggestions were elaborated for the specific types of co-operation for the provisions of the transnational cluster agreements to be presented to the second meetings of the sectoral working groups.
