On 16th February the 2nd Meeting of Modern Housing sectoral working group took place in Venice, hosted by Veneto Region and the National Association of Constructors (ANCE) of Venice.
The meeting has been opened with the study visit to the work site of the Academy Museum in Venice, run by a consortium of Venetian companies specialised in restoring of cultural heritage public building.
Partners from 8 different countries joined the visit and attended the meeting, during which some good practices on cluster organization and innovative clustering initiatives have been presented. Among them the study case of Larco Icos Lab of Emilia Romagna Region, the “Light Engineering” Cluster based in Veneto, Green Energy Cluster (Central Romania) and Furniture Cluster in Bulgaria.
Partners have discussed the further steps of the project. A Transnational Partnership Agreement will be outlined in the forthcoming weeks and before the next partnership event that will be held in Banja Luka (Srpska Republic, Bosnia Herzegovina) on 17th and 18th of March in the occasion of “GRAMES” Fair 2011 (Fair of architecture, building materials, building accessories, design and planning).
The Transnational Partnership Agreement will represent one of the milestone of the project: it will be structured in order to cope with expectations of the cluster arising from the Regional Focus Group organized at local level in each of the participating countries.
The Agreement will be discussed and improved during the next meeting while the signature is foreseen during the Partnership Event to be held in Maribor in June
