The project KIMERAA organizes on March 17, 2011, its first transnational event in Cardiff University, Wales (UK), to disseminate the results of the Activity 2 of the project, concerning to the Maritime Cluster Study in Regions from the Atlantic Area.
The Seminar "Maritime Clusters: Innovation Actors and Institutions in Atlantic Area" presents the KIMERAA, organized by the Cardiff University, will have two workshops under the following themes "Traditional knowledge in Atlantic Area to support marine sciences" and "Marine research to Increase the competitiveness of Atlantic regional economy".
KIMERAA will also take the opportunity to launch the European Network of Knowledge Transfer in Regions from the Atlantic Area (ENKTAA) which aims to connect the European Atlantic Area and facilitate the availability and knowledge transfer of expertise in marine sciences, stimulating the cooperation and strengthening the contribution of the maritime cluster and marine sciences to achieve economic, environmental and social development in Atlantic Europe.
The seminar "Maritime Clusters: Innovation Actors and Institutions in Atlantic Area" is open to all people that is interested in participating and the registration is free.
