The SHIFT project will bring its partners together during the 5thSteering Committee, which will be held in Seville (Sapin), to exchange their views on the implementation of the project and some results in each of their regions.
The meeting will focus on the main activities carried out and on coordination for any future actions.
Furthermore, the representatives of this European consortium, while in Greece, will take the opportunity to carry out study visits to Nerja (Málaga province), in order to assess the impact of tourism on Mediterranean areas and the benefits tourisms SMEs in the region.
SHIFT (Sustainable Tourism in Fragile Territories) is a project partly financed by the European MED Programme which aims to foster sustainable development in the Mediterranean basin. It involves the participation of six European regions from four Mediterranean countries and has a budget of 1.3 million Euro.
The meeting will take place in the Andalusian Council of Chambers of Commerce heartquarter.
