Central Baltic Steering Committee approved new projects

The Steering Committee of the Central Baltic (CB) Programme held its 6th meeting in Pärnu, Estonia on April 5-6 and took the following funding decisions on the 44 CB applications received in the 5th call for applications (open November 15-December 15, 2010):

- 17 CB projects were APPROVED UNDER CONDITIONS

(The project application is approved under conditions that improvements are made to the application before project implementation. The JTS will communicate the needed changes/additions to the individual projects)

- 27 CB projects were rejected

More detailed information will follow once the CB Steering Committee minutes have been formally approved and the funding decisions for the Southern Finland - Estonia as well as the Archipelago and Islands Sub-programmes have been taken (April 12 and 14).

The figures of the remaining funds for the 6th call are still preliminary:

Priority 1: No remaining funding (closed for the 6th call)

Priority 2: Approximately 7 MEUR

Priority 3: Approximately 3 MEUR
