INTERACT together with several Territorial Cooperation programmes is currently working on Cross-programme Analysis on Irregularities, Recoveries and Decommitment. We would like to present you the progress made so far in this activity.
The Analysis is a learning exercise, giving programmes a chance to exchange experience and learn about different solutions used across Europe. The topics covered are errors and irregularities and their follow up, i.e. recoveries and management of decommitment risk.
The Analysis started with a kick-off meeting on 23 March 2011 in Brussels. The objectives, methodology and general approach to the analysed topics were clarified. Additionally, the questions for the online questionnaire were discussed and agreed upon.
The online questionnaire is currently opened and contributions from participating programmes are being collected. The data collected will be analysed and summarised in the form of thematic factsheets.
The next meeting of the Cross-programme Analysis, an intensive workshop, is planned for September 2011. At this workshop we will present the outcomes of the survey and analysis done. Programmes will also be given an opportunity to clarify certain issues, discuss the outcomes as well to exchange information and experience on the analysed topics.
