The Open Innovation Project

Open Innovation allows organisations to look beyond their internal resources to develop new products, services, and sources of revenue.

The Open Innovation Project -is funded by the INTERREG IVB North-West Europe Programme.  It aims to promote understanding and implementation of open innovation principles throughout north-west Europe. Supporting these aims is a team of local governments, universities, business support services, and public engagement initiatives.

From 2010-2013, this partnership will deliver a diverse programme of activities across the UK, France, Germany, Ireland, and Belgium. These will involve events like the Turing technology festival in Edinburgh, the INOV’dia innovation event in Laval, Citrus Saturdays in London (see picture) and programmes like Innovation Coach training in Belgium.
