Press Releases
  • Write a short Press Release immediatelly after every event, local or international, internal or external. Use english for the international media and the local language for national press.
  • Send your Press Releases everywhere, even if you know they will not publish it.
  • Remember to send it to Regional Cooperation blog, and you will see it published within a day!
  • Upload it to your Press Corner.
Website
  • Remember to upload all relevant documents.
  • Do not mix the press and promotional material with technical information (reports etc).
  • Create a media corner to your site. Write even 3-4 sentences for every event you are organizing. DO NOT just upload the program.
  • Promote your events couple of months in advance. Let people know what your next activities are.\
  • Remember: The website is not just for the partners. The European Commission is very much interested to see projects explaining how they spend public money.
  • Use RSS or Atom feeds. It makes it more easier for those interested to follow your activities.
