Conference: Partnership Development

The conference will showcase the work of the UNICREDS partners on partnership development, highlighting the ways in which Universities and higher/further education institutions, local learning centres, regional authorities and the private sector are working together in isolated or resource-poor regions with underperforming economies.
Keynote speakers
Johan Sterte, Vice-Chancellor of Luleå University of TechnologyUNICREDS are delighted to announce that Johan Sterte, Vice-Chancellor of Luleå University of Technology will be giving the keynote presentation on "Partnership between a university, the municipalities and the business world in the north part of Sweden".
Nicolas Wallet, UNICREDS Project Manager
The second keynote speaker will be UNICREDS Project Manager, Nicolas Wallet, on "How universities can transform underperforming regional economies with the triple helix model".
Programme
Events will take place between 9.00am and 2.00pm on Tuesday 18 January 2011. In addition to the keynote presentations, the programme will include the results of case studies carried out by the UNICREDS partners and the presentation of a case study from Bulgaria. The conference will be completed by an opportunity to meet the partners and benefit from their shared experience over a poster session.Additional events for UNICREDS partners and their invited guests
In addition to the conference, there will be a series of workshops and meetings on 18 - 20 January 2011 for UNICREDS partners and their invited guests.
