DISTRICT+ Call for Sub-projects Proposals launched in Brussels


In the framework of the Interreg IVC Programme, the DISTRICT+ Project has launched an interregional Call for Sub-project Proposals on the 17th of December in Brussels. Presented at the Tuscany Regional Office in Brussels the Call invites public bodies and bodies governed by public law bodies belonging to the six DISTRICT+ partner regions to submit their ideas no later than 31st of March 2011.

According to the Terms of Reference sub-projects will operate between May 2011 and May 2013.
Proposals must involve partners from at least three different regions among the six DISTRICT+ partners Tuscany (IT), Vastra Gotalands (SE), Lower Silesia (PL), Brasov County (RO), Sachsen Anhalt (DE) and West Midlands (UK), and need to focus on one among the following policy areas:

  1. internationalisation strategies
  2. clustering strategies
  3. innovative business development
  4. spin-offs tools for industrial SMEs
  5. development of technological incubators
  6. eco-innovation in high-tech firms

In line with the overall methodology of the DISTRICT+ Project, sub-projects are required to identify, analyse and disseminate good practices that are relevant to the development policy of their regions and to create the basic preconditions for the integration of outcomes into the partners development programmes.
