Fondation Grand Paradis, partner of the B2N project, presents the photography competition “Sogni e Risvegli” (“Dreams and awakenings”). The competition is open to all mountain and photography lovers and is supported by the Consortium of Cogne Valley’s Tour Operators, the Mountain Photo Festival Association and Le Paradis du Sport sports shop.
Each season marks a change in our surroundings. Winter carries us to a dimension where it seems that life surrenders and silence closes in. Spring represents the awakening, a critical transformation that puts the cycle of nature back into movement. Fondation Grand Paradis invites you to capture signs of life that mark the mountain environment, from silent footprints that characterise the winter months to the signs that announce the revival of spring.
The sent photographs must be in jpg format and of a high resolution. They should be submitted with the completed registration form no later than the 3rd June 2011 to: Fondation Grand Paradis (Villaggio Minatori, Cogne) or toconcorso@grand-paradis.it. The prizes will be a stay for two people in Cogne, the participation in a nature photography hike organised by the Aosta Valley Photo Workshop and a Xerox multifunction printer. There will also be two “Gran Paradiso” special prizes.
