INTERREG IVC programme was invited to present programmes’ achievements by the Committee of the Regions to the meeting of Commission for Territorial Cohesion Policy(COTER) which was held on 19 May in Brussels.
Programme director Mr. Michel Lamblin gave an overview on the profile of the programme and achieved results. Members of the committee were positively surprised about the effect the INTERREG IVC programme makes and the high participation of regional and local authorities. 1 400 applications involving 14 000 potential partners, 120 approved projects with 1 300 partners from 29 countries show that there is a high demand for the help and experience that INTERREG IVC offers.
