SEE Programme to participate in the Croatian Days of Regional Development

The Ministry of Regional Development, Forestry and Water Management is organizing, from 23 - 25 May 2011 in Šibenik, Croatia, the Days of the Regional Development. The purpose of this event is to promote the importance of regional development in the Republic of Croatia, in a broader context of the Republic of Croatia's rapprochement with the EU. One of the objectives is to encourage local communities to prepare projects that could be financed from EU funds, by highlighting positive examples of the use of EU funds based on the experience from EU Member States and Croatia itself.

Participants in the Days of Regional Development will include representatives of the European Commission, Croatian national institutions in charge of managing EU funds, central and local authorities, current and future potential beneficiaries of the EU funds in Croatia and many other invitees from Croatia and abroad, including guest lecturers for the Cross-border and Transnational Cooperation Programmes in which Croatia participates.
