CPMR makes the case for a strong Cohesion Policy to Herman Van Rompuy

Jean-Yves Le Drian met Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council on 28 November to warn him about the precarious position of Cohesion Policy for 2014 – 2020 following the non-agreement at the European summit last week. A late agreement on the MFF would mathematically reduce the Cohesion Policy budget and would seriously put at risk the ability of regions to develop operational programmes on time for the next programming period.
