Experts will visit the area on 18 and 19 January to find ways to use currently empty public spaces
Change ignored places into attractive destinations where people want to spend their time is the main aim of the project Lively Cities (LICI) that brings together expertise from 4 NWE countries: Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Project partners plan to restore 11 public spaces in the four countries involved. The participation of citizens from the planning to the implementation phase ensures the re-design of these spaces is made according to their interests, needs and expectations. The local communities will also be in charge of the daily managing of these new-born places.
